I have always had a passion for athletics, exercise and fitness as well as a friendly and sincere desire to motivate and inspire my clients to embrace exercise and achieve better fitness results. This is an on-going process, balanced by a combination of personal training experience in leading fitness gyms as well as on-going education and instruction from top professional and recognized fitness-certification organizations.
After graduating in 2003 from Winchester High School and attending Landmark College, I have been employed as a fitness trainer in various health and fitness organizations, steadily gaining experience and credentials which have allowed me to master all of the essentials of personal fitness training. I have had the opportunity to help over 2,500 clients with employers including: Mike Boyle’s Strength & Conditioning, Town Sports International (Boston Sports Clubs), and Lifetime Fitness as a senior trainer and team development manager.
Since 2006, I have held a professional Certified Fitness Trainer certification with the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA ). ISSA has provided education, certification, and continuing education to over 180,000 people in 90 countries for nearly a quarter century, and is the industry leading first fitness organization in the U.S. that is accredited by a federally recognized agency. I recently was also certified to do prenatal/postpartum training. I successfully completed the TRX® GTC and STC and SMSTC programs, as well as Certified Functional Strength Coach and USAW (Olympic lifting) certification.
While working in personal training for the past 15 years I have achieved various personal goals ranging from weight loss, cardiovascular training, strength training, sport-specific training, and rehab. I love sports, music, and reading. I can’t wait to meet everyone and begin the process of changing your lives.
