Ideal Clients
I love to work with clients of all abilities, learning styles and communication styles. I believe in errorless learning and that all athletes can train! The training has to meet the individual where they are and utilize the strengths of that person. My two areas of specialty are working with kids, teens and adults with neurodiversity and disabilities and the second area of specialty is working with women. Women especially after having children as well as during their 40-60’s have special needs that need extra attention. Since I am both a physical therapist and a CrossFit Level 1 coach I bring a unique perspective to each client.
I have added the CrossFit classes because everyone deserves and benefits from community. CrossFit can be intimidating however I scale the size of the class to give extra attention to each athlete. I also scale all exercises as well as the environment to work on the unique needs and goals of each person. CrossFit is functional fitness. This includes squatting which is the same as getting off of a chair, farmer’s carry is the same as carrying groceries and a shoulder press is equivalent to putting things away overhead.
