The Driving Force

Desire For Improvement

Having worked at three different personal training facilities in the last decade, Mike has seen the good, and the bad, in the health and fitness industry.  From this exposure to different businesses, Mike understood that he could improve the business model; that he could simultaneously improve the experiences of the client and the coach.  (And that there was a need for it!)  This desire for improvement is the driving force behind opening PEX Health and Fitness.  It is his primary goal to build a studio where clients want to train and coaches want to work.

Mike lives with his wife, Liz, and daughter, Leila, in West Newton, MA.

Mike is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a certified Functional Movement Screen Specialist (FMS), and a certified Kettlebell Concepts Instructor (KBC).

"Mike has provided me with so much guidance and fueled me with motivation. I would highly recommend working with Mike.
