BIO

Mike graduated from Buckingham Browne & Nichols High School in 2005 where he played football and was an All-New England sprinter in Track and Field (100m dash). He later received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where he was also an All-New England sprinter in Track and Field (55m dash, 100m dash, 4x100m relay).

Mike’s post-College athletic career consisted of high level competition in the sports of Boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Mixed Martial Arts. As a boxer, Mike fought 13 times, amassed a 10-3 record, and was the Central Massachusetts Golden Gloves Champion in 2013 under coach Marc Gargaro of the Nonantum Boxing Club. As a mixed martial artist, Mike earned his Purple Belt under Professor John Connors of Connors’ MMA in Norwood, won several grappling tournaments, and amassed a 3-3 record as a mixed martial arts fighter.

Currently, Mike lives in Medfield, MA with his beautiful wife and daughter, Liz & Leila.

Mike is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a certified Functional Movement Screen Specialist (FMS), and a certified Kettlebell Concepts Instructor (KBC).
